A two day of training programme consists of five theories and five dives. A One-Star Diver is a diver who can assemble and disassemble and install all his/her diving equipment, use them correctly and dive in shallow training waters, and is ready to dive in open water with at least Three-Star Diver or diving instructor, and can dive up to a maximum of 20 meters. You must be at least 14 years old to attend the CMAS One-Star Diver Training Programme. For applicants under the age of 18, a parental consent document will be obtained. At the same time, you must have a health certificate from a doctor.
At the end of the theorical training of the CMAS One-Star Diver Training Programme, you will have learned what diving equipment are and how to use them, how to communicate with hand signals underwater, how your senses can be affected by depth, simple rules to be followed, the effects of pressure on your body and diving equipment, the effects of inhaled gases on your body under pressure, how to plan your dive in order to be able to dive safely, and how to save yourself and your other diving companions in an emergency.
In your practical underwater studies at CMAS One-Star Diver training Programme, you will be given comprehensive studies on the communication signs to be used during your diving trainings, you will learn how to equip yourself, techniques for entering the water, techniques for descending under water, what to pay attention to when breathing, how to use your buoyancy balancing equipment, how you can take the regulator out of your mouth that allows you to breathe, how you can share your air with your friend, how you can empty your mask when water enters, how you can take it off and put it on underwater, how to use your fins more accurately, how to take off your scuba gear and re-equip your weight belt, simple first aid and rescue skills, and what you should pay attention to in the diving boat, as well as taking care of the environment and yourself underwater. These skills will be taught to you in a total of 5 dives in practical underwater training.
The duration of the CMAS One-Star Diver Training Programme can be completed in about 3 days, depending on your progress. CMAS One-Star Diver certificate (card) will be given by TSSF to the divers who complete the training successfully.Contact Us for more details
