Course Details

ADVANCED OPEN WATER
It is a second level course consisting of five dives. Two of them are compulsory (deep dive, and navigation dive) and the other three dives can be selected together with the instructor from nearly twenty dives.
The ADVANCED Open Water course is divided into 3 parts: academic training, shallow water training and open water training. It includes the basic principles you need to know for a safe and enjoyable diving with academic education, books, videos and lectures. The theoretical part of the training is completed with an exam aimed at reinforcing what you have learned. Shallow water training can be done in the pool or anywhere that can fit the pool conditions. The basic skills of diving are taught and practiced by the student. Shallow water training consisting of 5 parts is also supported by theoretical training. Open water dives allow you to apply what you have learned in knowledge and skill development trainings in real diving environments. In this training, you will do 4 scuba dives.
Depending on your progress, your instructor may combine some of the shallow water and open water dives within the scope of PADI standards, allowing you to complete this training in 3 days, which normally takes 4 days. With this globally recognized certificate, you can rent diving equipment and perform your sportive dives together with any other qualified diver (except under the instructor's correct or indirect supervision). It also allows you to attend advanced training courses.
It is a program that anyone who is over the age of 14 and does not have a serious health problem can participate in. You can get a Junior Open Water Diver certificate up to the age of 15, and an Open Water Diver certificate over the age of 15. The program of both certificates is the same.
